Currently being held in Australia, the T20 World Cup 2022 has so far been one of the most dramatic sports tournaments in a while. So many unbelievable instances have changed the course of the game for several teams leading up to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022. A tournament of some of the biggest upsets like West Indies being restricted by Ireland from entering the Super 12 or Netherlands blocking South Africa from qualifying for the Semi-finals, almost every team was affected due to rains as matches were either abandoned or shortened using the DLS method, a tournament with uncertain semi-finals positions until the last group stage matches and also too many nail-biting finishers like India vs Pakistan or Zimbabwe vs Pakistan.

After 20 days of total drama and chaos, 4 teams that have made it into the semi-finals for the T20 World Cup are India, New Zealand, England and Pakistan. The first semi-final will be Group 1 table-toppers New Zealand Vs Pakistan on 9th November in Sydney and the second semi-final will be Group 2 table-toppers India Vs England on 10th November in Adelaide. If both India and Pakistan win their respective games then there is a huge possibility that we see India Vs Pakistan in the T20 World Cup finals on 13th November in Melbourne, where the carnage initially began for both the teams

This possibility has speculated in a lot of memes from the cricket world and also fans freaking out over a nail-biting thriller between one of the greatest rivalries of the cricketing world. So far, India vs Pakistan head-to-head stats stand at 6-1, with India clinically leading over the neighbours. Pakistan’s only win was against the Kohli-led Indian side, thrashing them by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2021.

However, India’s 6th win over Pakistan would be the one written in golden words in the cricketing books. Their first fixture of the T20 World Cup 2022 at Melbourne on 23rd October was a thrill ride for the viewers. Thanks to the extreme destruction by batters Virat Kohli with an unbeaten 82*(53) and Hardik Pandya’s 40(37) with the bat and 4-0-30-3 with the ball to anchor India’s boat on the winning bank. Similar to their last episode, fans are once again expecting an adrenaline show once again in the finals for the T20 World Cup 2022.
