Bollywood has been inspired by Hollywood in their own cinema making and storytelling in a big way, so much so that the famed actors and directors have been remaking tons of Hollywood movies for Indian audiences. With its tweaks and twists, personal touches, and a sprinkling of the classic Bollywood masala, many great Hollywood movies have been remade to suit the taste of Indian movie enthusiasts.

The same thing is happening now with Laal Singh Chaddha – the latest in the list of Bollywood remakes of Hollywood movies. This upcoming venture of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, a remake of the classic Forrest Gump, has already excited the film enthusiasts to see whether it matches up to the hype of the original movie or not. Laal Singh Chaddha was shot in over 100 locations in India including Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and many other locations covered in our India tour packages. This unofficial remake of Mrs. Doubtfire has to be on our list of Bollywood remakes of Hollywood movies. Starring Kamal Haasan and Tabu, Chachi 420 was a laughter riot. From chaos to confusion and comedy, the movie had every aspect that made it a full fun-filled family film.

Although this movie did not create a massive impact at the box office, it provided some catchy tunes that are still an earworm. From Dil Ding Dong Ding Dole to Kya Pyaar Karoge Mujhse and Hai Rey, the songs added a bit of colour and a splash of romance in this unofficial Bollywood remake of the thrilling Hollywood movie – I Know What You Did Last Summer.

The whole movie was filmed in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. Fun packed and filled with various male characters trying to woo the female lead in interesting ways this movie was a 10/10 entertainer and one of our personal favourites.

In her mission to reclaim her love and her fiancé, Kajol accompanied by Ajay Devgan took us on a wild ride from Paris to Punjab and later to Palam Beach (Goa). Littered with groovy and catchy songs and an interesting storyline, this unusual love story covers all the bases to make it memorable. It can be considered one of the best Bollywood remakes of Hollywood movies due to it being a scene-to-scene copy of the original movie – French Kiss. The movie was shot in different parts of Switzerland, Seychelles and Chandigarh among other locations. The scenes were so mesmerising that many were inspired to get their Schengen visas and travel to Swiss for a holiday.

A bittersweet love story of two cancer patients, which was released after the untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput and left almost all the viewers teary-eyed.
