UNESCO Recognizes Byculla Station As Indian Railways Oldest Station In Use
Recently, Mumbai’s Byculla railway station was awarded the UNESCO Asia Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Award. Over the past three years, the station was undergoing restoration work that was carried out by an NGO called “I Love Mumbai”, headed by the famed social worker and fashion designer Shaina NC and The Bajaj Group Charitable Trust.
Air India To Connect Mumbai With Paris, Frankfurt And New York
Starting from February 2023, Air India will be launching new flights that will connect the metropolitan city of Mumbai to other major cities around the world such as Paris, New York and Frankfurt. In addition to this, non-stop connecting flights from Delhi to Milan, Vienna and Copenhagen will also be resumed.
Rashtrapati Bhavan To Be Open For Public Viewing
From December 1, commoners like us could visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the residence of the current President of India as it will be open for public viewing. According to the official statement, people can visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan between Wednesday and Sunday except on holidays, for 1 hour during designated time slots between 10 am to 4 pm.

RT-PCR Test Mandatory For Non-Fully Vaccinated Travelers Flying To Port Blair And Leh
Visitors to Leh – Ladakh or Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands might have to undergo an RT-PCR test upon their arrival at the airport or must provide a negative RT-PCR test report, wherein the test must have been conducted between 48 to 96 hours. This rule is applicable only to unvaccinated or non-fully vaccinated travelers.

Air India Express Will Soon Start Services To Bahrain, Dammam
On November 30 and December 1, Air India Express will be starting its services from Thiruvananthapuram to Bahrain and Dammam respectively. Flights to Bahrain will operate twice per week and Flights to Dammam will operate thrice per week. So far only Gulf Air operated flights to these sectors.

Ladakh To Host Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon In February
Ladakh will be hosting the first of its kind Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon, nicknamed “The Last Run” on February 20, 2023. This 21 km long marathon will be the first marathon in the world to take place at an altitude of 13,862 feet and is organized by the Adventure Sports Foundation of Ladakh to raise awareness about climate change.
