A Time Out survey has ranked cities around the world in its eponymous annual list of the top 50 cities that are ideal to live in. Mumbai is the only Indian city to make it on the list.

2. Kejriwal Government Likely To Sponsor Travel Of Devotees From Delhi To Ayodhya

Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday hinted that they may sponsor free travel for devotees from the capital city to Ayodhya. At the gathering, he also hailed the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Arvind Kejriwal said, “We will try our best to sponsor the travel of devotees from Delhi to Ayodhya Ji. On the one hand, while we have to devote ourselves to Lord Ram, on the other hand, with utmost honesty we have to dedicate ourselves to the welfare of our nation. If we tread the path of Lord Ram, no one can stop India from becoming the world’s number 1 country.”

7. Visit Qatar Launches New Qatar International Food Festival 2024

Visit Qatar will be hosting its 13th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival 2024 (QIFF 2024). It will be held at Family Zone Doha Expo 2023 at Al Bidda Park from February 7 to February 17th, 2024. Along with the original kiosks of over 100 food stalls, live cooking shows by world-class chefs and masterclasses for all food enthusiasts, QIFF 2024 will also include additions like new games and competitions, Dining In The Sky and screenings of football matches.

8. Emirates Looking To Boost Services Between Brazil And Argentina

Emirates Airways is announcing an additional weekly flight on Saturdays, a fifth frequency on the Dubai- Rio de Janeiro route from 7th December 2024. This will provide increased capacity to support the demand. This will further help the airline meet the demands of the Buenos Aires route further.

12. Japan: Mount Fuji To Limit Daily Climbers And Impose Toll Charges This Summer

To address the heavy rush and pressure on Japan’s Mount Fuji, the Japanese government will now introduce a toll and a daily limit on the number of individuals permitted to climb the iconic mountain. Governor Kotaro Nagasaki, during a conference on December 20 2023, mentioned regulations like a daily cap of 4,000 climbers on the popular Yoshida trail from July 1st and restricting climbers from starting the trail between 4 PM and 2 AM. A toll will also be introduced for maintenance and additional facilities like shelter tents and toilet facilities.
