1. Aquaventure Waterpark

The Aquaventure Waterpark Dubai, the largest waterpark, is home to some of the most iconic attractions and rides. Spread across 42 thrilling acres, it is located at the Atlantis hotel. This gigantic Aquaventure waterpark also has a number of aquatic activities including safe swim with dolphins, hand-feed friendly Cownose stingrays, get shot through the shark tank in a tube slide or ride the longest zip-line circuit in the Middle East; offering an adrenaline rush for the adventure junkies. You can also relax on 700 meters of pristine private beach or in the new exclusive reserved seating areas. Aquaventure waterpark is open every day of the year, including all holidays from 10:00 AM – 05:30 PM.

2. Wild Wadi Water Park

The Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai overlooks the Burj Al Arab, making it one of the most colorful and beautiful waterparks in the world. Located between Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, the Wild Wadi Water Park is designed to offer hours of fun and pleasure to families and children alike. In total, the water park has 30 different water attractions, including the 32 meters high Jumeirah Sceirah slide, the artificial surf ride Wipeout and Riptide and the 18 meters high waterfall.  The concept of the park is based around the tales of Juha; an Arabian folklore character, who loved travel and adventure, and travelled to distant lands with Sinbad the Sailor.The park is open 365 days of the year.

3. Ski Dubai

Ski Dubai, located in the Mall of the Emirates is one of the most attractive spots for kids. It is the first ski resort in the Middle East! Throughout the year, Ski Dubai is covered in snow and kids can enjoy activities like skiing, tobogganing, snow games and also penguin shows- something very exciting for every age group! Ski Dubai is a unique mountain-themed attraction that offers skiing for every level. There are five ski runs of varying difficulty, height and steepness and a quad chair-lift. The longest run is 400 meters with a fall of 60 meters. The slope itself is 85 meters high and 80 meters wide. There are gentler slopes for beginners and indoor black runs for more seasoned, experienced skiers. It has the third largest skiing area in the world.

4. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is one of the most captivating attractions at The Dubai Mall, offering a memorable journey into ocean life. The tank holds around 10-million liter of water making it one of the largest suspended aquarium in the world. The Aquarium is home to aquatic animals, 300 sharks, sting-rays and over 140 species and is a fascinating experience for children of all ages. It is split over three floors with an underwater zoo, fish tanks and the Dubai Aquarium Tunnel, a 48-meter walk-through tunnel with a stunning array of sea life. Walking through the aquarium surrounded by tanks full of stingrays, sharks, penguins and thousands of fish is a charismatic experience and your kids will be enthralled with the colorful fish and action-filled tanks.

5. At The Top, Burj Khalifa

A trip to Dubai would not be complete without a visit to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. The At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY experience takes you to level 148, a colossal 555 metres (1,820 feet) above ground for a stunning 360-degree view of the city. On the way you’ll be entertained by fun facts, multimedia presentations and special effects. Once your feet are back on the ground, don’t miss the Dubai Fountain show at the Burj Khalifa Lake, where music-synchronised water jets soar 150 metres (492 feet) into the sky.

6. Magic Planet Arcade

Incredible adventures await you at Magic Planet UAE, a fun-filled day out for the entire family – from toddlers to adults, thrill-seekers to chill-seekers, there are family activities for everyone at Magic Planet. It is the largest indoor family entertainment centre in Dubai, featuring several international award-winning rides and games that have never before been found indoors! Spread over two levels, this centre will appeal to the young and young at heart. Kids can look forward to Magic Planet’s incredible range of rides, and enjoy a fantastic selection of adrenaline-pumping games and other attractions. Thrill-seekers can take their pick from the infamous Sky Trail and climbing wall as well as the exciting XD Theatre Dark Ride and simulator. 7. Desert Safari

If you’re looking for sand dunes and magic carpets, a desert safari adventure is a kid-pleasing favourite. A short drive from the city centre is the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where families enjoy everything from 4×4 dune-bashing, camel rides, sand-board surfing, wildlife-watching, falconry and traditional desert meals in a Bedouin camp.

8. KidZania Dubai

KidZania is a massive assortment of educational activities for kids. It is an indoor educational centre with a hospital, fire station, beauty salon, bank, radio station, supermarket, television station, pizzeria, theatre, and much more. The zone permits kids between the ages of four to sixteen to perform tasks that comes naturally to them; role-playing by representing activities done by adults in real life. Kids work to earn kidZos, KidZania’s own currency, so they are able to pay for goods and services in the KidZania city. KidZos can be spent on goods and services within the mini-city, or deposited in the Kidzania bank for future visits. Children as pilots navigate airplanes, television anchors read the news, police officers accomplish detective work and chefs prepare tasty dishes. The 80,000 square foot city is scaled down two-thirds in height and therefore all facilities are designed to be ‘just right’ for children. KidZania also makes available an isolated area for toddlers to play in a safe and appealing environment. It is located at Dubai Mall and is open all seven days of the week.

9. LEGOLAND® Dubai

Legoland is one such destination where kids will have a blast. As the name suggests, the Dubai Legoland is a Lego-themed entertainment park designed especially for children aged 2-12 years. Built with families in mind, LEGOLAND® Dubai has something for everyone. It promises a world of fun-filled education and imagination in its three-million-square-feet facility, featuring six amazing zones and over 40 immersive rides and attractions based on the popular LEGO® toy building bricks.
