1. Phra Nang Beach

There’s no doubt that this beach is Krabi’s most beautiful and probably the finest in Thailand. Located just six kilometers offshore from Ao Nang, it roughly takes 25 minutes to get there by long-tail boat. Covered with palm and pine trees and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach, it is every inch the stunning tropical getaway. A coral reef lies about 20 meters from the beach with a variety of sea life. The irresistible combination of excellent snorkelling, scenery and soft sand makes this island a popular choice among snorkelers and sea kayakers, but surprisingly, it’s not that crowded.
4. Ao Nang Beach

6. Nopparat Thara Beach
Nopparathara Beach is situated 18km west of Krabi Town and is about 2 km long and far less touristy than Ao Nang. This discreet beach lies within the Hat Nopparat Thara-Koh Phi Phi National Park and features a three-kilometre long sandy stretch lined by casuarina trees. The name Noppharat Thara is that of the local National Park to which most of the beachfront land supposedly belongs. Locals refer to Nopparat Thara as “Klong Heng” (dry canal) because of its appearance at low tide, which makes it interesting to walk to the nearby islands without needing a boat.

7. West Railay Beach
Railay West Beach also known as Railey Sunset Beach is the most popular beach within the peninsula. It is a vast and beautiful beach with incredibly soft sand, surrounded by majestic limestone cliffs. Due to the fine sand and the hardly existing stones or corals in the water, the sea is perfect for swimming. West Railay is located between Ton Sai and Phra Nang Beaches on the west coast of Krabi. Throughout the high season, West Railay Beach is somewhat busy as it is renowned for being an ideal destination for romantic getaways, family beach vacations and has been a long time favorite spot for backpackers and day trippers. Evenings are blissfully quiet.
