1. Paris’ Iconic Eiffel Tower looking to hike Ticket Prices significantly to spiral from Economic Strain

3. Georgia Entry Rules changed, Travel Health Insurance now mandatory for Visitors
In a recent announcement, Georgia has made changes to its visa-free travel policies. Travellers from 95 countries enjoying Georgia’s visa-free travel will now have to purchase travel health insurance before entering the country. The latest requirement for visa-exempt travellers from 1st June 2024 is to present proof of purchased health travel insurance.
- The insurance policy must cover at least €30,000 of medical costs,
- Must be valid for the entire stay period in Georgia regardless of stay validity
- Present proof upon entry into Georgia
- Documents must either be in Georgian, Russian or English
- Recommended date of purchasing the travel insurance is 15 days before your travel date.
Indian nationals are not eligible for Georgia visa-free entry but they are eligible for Georgia eVisa for Indians.
4. Sikkim Travel Record 2024: Record Tourist Influx of 1.2 million Visitors by year-end
Statistics from the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department statistics reveal a record-breaking tourist influx of 290,401 tourists overall – 56,537 domestic visitors and 30,864 overseas guests up till 31st March 2024. Following the current growth rate, Sikkim is set to receive 1.2 million visitors by the end of 2024.

Indian carrier Air India Express is cancelling its flight services between Muscat in Oman to Kozhikode, Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram in India. The airline cites operational reasons to cancel the flights from June 1-7. The airline has notified travel agents and passengers via circulars.
9. Oman’s SalamAir to launch Services for Delhi Route from 2nd June
Oman’s latest airline, SalamAir has added a new destination- Delhi, India. Initially, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights, every Tuesday and Thursday to expand its growing network for those looking for cheap flight bookings.
