COVID-19 Emergency Decree Ends In Thailand
From September 30, the COVID-19 Emergency Decree established all over Thailand will be disabled. Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) which established the decree will also be dissolved. All the orders issued, announcements made, regulations set up, etc. by the Prime Minister under this administration will also be revoked. After the Thailand Pass registration scheme was removed in July, travelers visiting Thailand had to show proof of vaccination (in case vaccinated) or a negative ATK test result (in case unvaccinated). With the ending of the emergency decree, travelers will only need a valid Thailand visa to enter and enjoy their Thailand tour packages without any COVID-19 restrictions.
First Cannabis Ayurvedic Retreat of Asia and India Now In Kerala
Poonthottam Ayurvedasram an Ayurvedic Ashram situated among the lush-green Kulakkad hills of Kerala is India’s first ever cannabis ayurvedic retreat. Varanasi To Bogibeel – India’s Longest River Cruise Coming Soon!
As per Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, a river cruise service will be commencing in early 2023. Expected to be the longest river cruise in India, the cruise services will be connecting Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Bogibeel in Assam. The cruise services were announced in a bid to promote cargo transportation, trade, tourism, etc. and will be covering a distance of more than 4,000 km over rivers Ganga and Brahmaputra while making use of the inland waterways.
Netherlands Lifts COVID-19 Travel Restrictions
International travelers visiting the Netherlands will no longer have to face any travel restrictions. As of September 17, the Netherlands has lifted all of its entry requirements related to COVID-19 including the E.U. entry ban. If you have a valid Schengen visa, you don’t need to postpone your Netherlands holiday. Since, the Netherlands is part of the Schengen Agreement, you can easily enter the country with a Schengen visa and don’t need a separate Netherlands visa.

No More Ban On River Rafting And Paragliding In Himachal
Every year, under the Himachal Pradesh Aero Sports Rules, 2004 all the adventure activities falling under the Himachal Pradesh Miscellaneous Adventure Activities Rules, 2017 including River Rafting, Paragliding and Trekking are banned from July to September. The Himachal Government imposes this temporary ban during the monsoon season as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of travellers during their Himachal holidays. So far the ban has been lifted only on air and water sports and trekking is still banned given the recent snowfall on higher altitudes.
Hong Kong Scraps Mandatory Quarantine Rule
Visitors arriving in Hong Kong from September 26 will no longer have to undergo the mandatory 3 day quarantine in hotels. The city-state has come up with a new policy “0+3” wherein the visitors would have to monitor themselves at home for 3 days and report to the relevant authorities if they have any symptoms of COVID-19. During these 3 days, the travel will be free travel around the city with restricted access to restaurants and bars.
No More Entry Restrictions In Barbados
Barbados’s Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Lisa Cummins recently announced the removal of all entry requirements related to COVID-19. From September 23, Barbados has dropped all its COVID-19 related entry protocols. Due to this, the requirement of providing a negative test result for unvaccinated passengers, and wearing a face mask indoors regardless of your vaccination status will no longer be mandatory.
