1. Have a US Tourist/Business Visa? Now you can apply for Jobs and attend Job Interviews!
As per the latest update from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), applying for jobs and appearing for interviews is now allowed for US B-1 or B-2 visa holders. The applicant must change their visa from B-1 or B-2 to an employment-based visa such as H-1B, H-2B, L-1, L-2, O, P, etc. before starting their job. This move will provide many employment opportunities for people visiting the US with a US Tourist visa (B-2) or US Business visa (B-1).
2. The Opening Date for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi Announced
Soon, there will be a new addition to your Abu Dhabi holiday itinerary as the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is opening on May 23! Situated on Yas Island and spread across 183,000 sq meters, this 5 level indoor marine life theme park will allow animal encounters and also includes several rides, an entertainment center, a fine dining restaurant, and even a shopping complex!
3. Finland giving away Free Trips to Show why it’s ‘The Happiest Country in the World’
The ‘World Happiness Report 2023’ is out and for the 6th year in a row, Finland has secured the top spot! The report is based on several factors such as social generosity, income, and mental and physical health. And to prove that happiness is a skill that can be learned, Finland is offering free trips for a 4 day long ‘Masterclass of Happiness’ from June 12 to 15. At the moment only 10 people can avail this opportunity.

5. Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad to be Open for general public year-round
The heritage building of Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad will be open to the general public for the first time in history. Earlier visitors could only visit the gardens of this Presidential retreat only once a year and that too for a limited period of time. The Rashtrapati Nilayam will be year round except on the occasions when the President is visiting the retreat.
6. Water Metro Services to start soon in Kochi
The First Water Metro in India will soon be inaugurated in Kochi. It will utilize the intricate network of backwaters in Kochi and is expected to provide a hassle-free, eco-friendly, and modern twist to commuting in the city. The route between High Court and Vypeen will be the first to be inaugurated, shortly followed by other key routes.
7. Delhi – Jaipur Vande Bharat Express to Start Operations Soon
As per a circular issued by the North Western Railway (NWR), the Vande Bharat Express will start operating on the Delhi – Jaipur route by the end of March 2023. The journey will take less than 2 hours, making it the fastest mode of transport between the 2 metro cities. So far, the train runs on 10 different routes making this the 11th Vande Bharat Express train operating in the country.

8. Indian Railways reduces Fare of AC 3 Tier Economy Class
On March 22, the Indian Railways issued an order to reduce the fare of AC 3E tier. The order also mentioned that despite the price drop, the passengers will be provided with bed linen, which was the cause of the similar pricing to that of the normal AC 3 tier. After this order, the cost of AC 3E tier will be 6-8% cheaper than the AC 3 tier and passengers who have already booked their tickets will be provided a refund.
9. Gosabra – Mokarsagar Wetland in Gujarat to be turned into an Eco-tourism Destination
Spread across an area of 90 sq km and home to over 186 species of birds, the Gosabra – Mokarsagar Wetland will soon become a sustainable eco-tourism destination. The plan includes building watchtowers, eateries, guesthouses, and nature trails around the wetland to attract more nature and wildlife enthusiasts to Porbandar, which is often overlooked by tourists during their tour of Gujarat.
10. 15 Less Explored Jungle Trails to Open in Uttarakhand for Trekking
The Forest Conservator of Uttarakhand has identified 15 trails in the dense forests of the state, which you can visit on your next holiday in Uttarakhand. Depending upon the duration of your trip and level of expertise you can either choose a day-long 2.5 km long trek or a week-long 65 km long trek and enjoy staying in nature camps, homestays, or British-era forest rest houses that lie along the trail.
11. IndiGo announces New Route
As per the recent announcement, IndiGo will be starting direct flights on the Mumbai – Dhaka route. Along with this, it will also resume its services on the Mumbai – Singapore route which was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The operations on both of these routes will begin on March 26.
