Dubai has finally opened up to tourists who have been looking to enjoy the long-awaited international exhibition Expo 2020. It is all set to fascinate tourists with remarkable events, international pavilions, and exclusive food outlets, letting visitors and applicants reimagine the world of tomorrow.
This expo, which was postponed due to the pandemic, has now returned in full swing. It will be hosted for 182 days, each one packed with new experiences. It will be a time to make, collaborate and innovate.
And as the world’s greatest event has begun, you might be wondering about which hotels will be accommodating and what lies in store. To help you, we have created a comprehensive guide that will help you book your hotels for the Dubai Expo 2020 and to know what’s in store.
- Reaching the Expo
Reaching Dubai Expo 2020 is quite comfortable as there is enough road signage throughout the journey. It will take you around 20 minutes to reach Dubai Expo 2020 from New Dubai. Tourists coming from Old Dubai will perhaps take a bit longer, around 45 minutes to get there.
- Parking is a breeze
There are three chief pillars that Expo 2020 is constructed on: Sustainability, Opportunity, and Mobility, which are also the three major sub-themes of the event. Each pillar has its parking area and entrance, secured by a massive gate at every entry point.
Once you reach the main gate, the entry is limited to only fully vaccinated individuals or individuals who have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours. For non-vaccinated individuals, Expo 2020 organizers have set up a PCR testing facility adjacent to the entry gate.
- One day is not enough
The Dubai Expo 2020 site is enormous. Covering 4.38 square kilometers with 192 participating countries, 200+ pavilions, along with up to 60 daily shows and 200 dining settings serving more than 50 cuisines, it’s almost impossible to fully explore it within a day.
- Perfect for foodies and families
True to its spirit of providing a spread for all, Dubai Expo 2020 hosts over 200 food outlets, ranging from international eateries fronted by celeb chefs such as Matthew Kenney and the Arabian Tea House.
