Singapore has topped the Henley Passport Index 2025 list for two consecutive years, a remarkable feat. The grand surprise is here! India ranks in the 85th position on the Henley Passport Index 2025, allowing visa-free access to 57 destinations. In the previous year, the Indian passport ranked 80th on the Henley Passport 2025 list. Even though the power of India’s passport has declined since 2024, the Henley Passport Index India rank peaked at 71st in 2006 and has significantly improved since its drop to the 90th position in 2021.

The Top 10 Weakest Passports in the World

As per the Henley Passport 2025 list, Afghanistan is the lowest, ranking at 106, providing visa-free travel to 26 destinations. The list of countries among the top 10 weakest passport in the world are:
