Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films to be screened on Indian cinema. Being made on a massive budget of over Rs 300 crore, the movie brings together real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Brahmastra released in June, 2022 and left everyone spell-bound and speechless. Social media was filled with positive tweets about the chemistry of the lead pair, the music, the VFX and everything in between, Overall, #BrahmastraTrailer generated tremendous hype among the audience and is something to look out for.

The film Brahmastra is a passionate effort by Ayan Mukerji, and has been the result of more than a decade of hard work. It will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada.

BRAHMASTRA – The Trilogy is a three-part film franchise and the beginning of India’s first original universe, Astraverse. This is a new original cinematic universe inspired by concepts and stories deeply rooted in Indian mythology, but set in a modern world with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good or evil, love and hope. The first part of the film tells the story of a young man who discovers his unique connection to power and fire.

Brahmastra has been in the spotlight ever since filming began for a variety of reasons. Constant release delays are one thing, but another was Alia and Ranbir’s first on-screen pairing. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Shahrukh Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni who play pivotal roles in the movie. If the reports are to be believed, it states that all the characters in the film have supernatural powers, with Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor’s) character having the power to unleash fire from his palms as per the Brahmastra trailer.

An action-fantasy film and possibly the first in a trilogy series, Brahmastra was filmed extensively in London, Bulgaria, Varanasi, Scotland, Manali and Mumbai. Filming began in Bulgaria in 2018, flooding the internet with countless images from all over the place. The creators also announced principal photography with the first schedule for the film beginning in 2018 which was completed in Bulgaria and the last part of the filming was completed in Varanasi in March, 2022.

The beautiful love song Kesariya was shot in the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. While their photos went viral on social media, a dance shot of Alia and Ranbir from Varanasi went viral on the internet. Not only did fans and locals flock to see the star in action, but videos and photos of them also grabbed attention on Twitter and Instagram. The director handpicked a five-member team who are the only people in possession of the footage to avoid the risk of the film being leaked. One thing is for sure, this 3-part adventure with all the visual effects is sure to be a visual treat for viewers with all of its VFX delight.
