His romantic role as Haridas in the 2009 romance-drama film Neelathamara, directed by Lal Jose, especially stood out, bringing him to the main spotlight! You might recognize the movie through the melodious tunes of Anuaraga Vilochananayi, which won the Vanitha Film Awards in 2010 for being the most popular song. Kailash was also awarded the title of Best Newcomer Actor, a highly regarded achievement as a South actor, at this Film Award!

His success grew in bounds as an Indian actor, with his touching acting as the main lead, Mohanchandran, in the 2012 film Bhoomiyude Avakashikal. The film pulled at the heartstrings of all Malayalam cinema lovers because of his emotion-filled acting! The story is the third instalment of the Gujarat Riots, shot in the actor’s hometown, Kerala, where he builds a bond with the animals and insects in their natural setting.
